We are pleased to announce that Roofline Group major projects have secured the specialist waterproofing package for the new University College London – West student accommodation and academic facilities at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
Working alongside Vinci Construction we will be installing structural hot melt waterproofing with a mixture of finishes including green and brown roof’s, paving and ballast across multiple roof areas. We have also secured the specialist roof safety systems.
This prestigious project is part of the largest single expansion of UCL since its foundation and will consist of over 50,000sq meters of development across two buildings, rising to 16 and 20 floors, including a three storey podium to house the Future Living Institute: a multi-disciplinary home for research, innovation and teaching.
We are due to commence our waterproofing in early December and look forward to being part of this exciting development through 2021.
