Portland Academy is situated on the old Royal Navy building site. The works comprised of roof refurbishment of the existing building to bring it up to current thermal regulations and extend its design life and the installation of metal decking, Insulation and waterproofing to the new sports block. New roof safety systems, roof lights and smoke vents were incorporated in to the waterproofing package.
