Clive Booth Halls of Residence

This third phase of the Clive Booth Halls of Residence at Marston Road, Oxford, provides 358 places for postgraduates. There is a series of linked three and four-storey pavilions arranged around a central quadrangle, which has a water feature and a Postgraduate Lounge. The pavilions have a mix of individual en-suite rooms and flats of different sizes with up to six students sharing a well-equipped kitchen. Most of the gently sloping roofs are green sedum on a warm roof synthetic single ply membrane system. The rooms are naturally ventilated while the buildings feature sustainable cedar cladding. The project has a BREEAM ‘Very Good’ rating.
